But we are yet to officially "launch" weekly services. Ah church planting.
how big is your chenis (church penis)
it happens at every conference and luncheon- the chenis competition.
Currently we are being called about 45 people's home church.
God is continuing to teach us and show us His direction for our church.
Our first outreach, to let the community know that we're there, was a couple weekends ago.
God has affirmed that this journey for Dialogue Church will be a long one.
I'm excited.

ok . . . i know that's NOT what he meant!
... and the word chenis is HILARIOUS!
Members at Prestonwood in Plano, Texas 30,000 (although it is probably larger by now)
You can count the smaller one if you like :)
Group I've grown up in and been with my whole life. Size has varied in that time from three people meeting under a lamp post on the street in the rain to around 120. Splits. People come and people go. Still trying to obey God in it all :-)
Central Christian in Henderson, NV.
It's a HUGE God thing!
the church im currently serving in...1600
Biggest church I've ever been a part of...it takes some getting used to..
@ryan g: that is wrong on infinite levels.
We have 5,000 on any given Sunday (1,300).
Still waiting for the marathon blog. Running my first in 3 weeks.

add 10 for those in our room that think we're buckhead church.
Kind of crazy when you think of it like that. Crazy to see the number of people represented here on this blog even.
My church has about 200 peeps at it, meeting in a theatre.
4 campuses, 2 more to come in the next year, 12 services
I should retitle the post...
How big is your Chenis?
About 40- church hasn't 'launched' to weekly services yet.
Boulevard Christian Church.
Muskogee, OK.
I'm definitely the only person that blogs from that church.
Ugh. I can't believe I love this church. But I do. I can't believe God wants me here. But I am.
I am not too crazy about the topics of sermons series for the last year but I have faith that my pastor will get back to expository, exegesis teaching of books of the Bible.
But, that is just the "champagne wishes and caviar dreams" of this one follower.
=p
ill answer for the high school with about 900 every weekend.
=)
more coming every week
First Christian Church - Canton Ohio
I thought only my pastor did that.
We are about 400-450.
The local church we attend has about 6,000 attendees across 5 weekend services. But that is only one part of our church. The other, and I think just as important, part also happens each weekend but includes just 8 of us, 4 couples.
We worship and learn during the church "service". We worship and grow through our chuch small group.
Don't you love the variety? I'm tempted to say it...no, I won't.
There's a church for everyone!
2,400+ on the Tulsa Campus last weekend
LifeChurch.tv
Oh, I added up all the entries up till this post (that took awhile!)
What struck me was that all the people that left comments represent 486,930 attenders in local churches across the globe! That's amazing Carlos! I love how there are so many people represented here!
The other thing that struck me was how many people don't see a number as an individual with a life, that NEEDS Jesus. Numbers directly represent people. There's a whole book in the Old Testament that emphasizes the importance of counting people! We know how many people got saved when Peter preached....that's not shallow..that's giving a testimony of what GOD has done!
Climbing down from soap box now.
LOL on the "chenis" post after this one. You are so fun!!
I've been there since it was ~35 people (just celebrated our 10 year anniversary). It's weird to go from literally knowing everyone at your church to not even knowing the entire staff. Amazing to see what God has done, the stories He has told in people's lives, over the last ten years, though. I'm looking forward to the next ten!
