A couple things:

**My heart to remain open to God's Word, and to be encouraged and taught more about leading musical worship.

**A future accountability relationship with my bro-in-Christ. For us to be led and remain obedient and open w/ GOD and one another.

**To be a capable leader for my youth ministry and drama ministry. Be encouraged and loved by my followers.

My brother is having heart surgery Nov. 3rd.
We are praising God that he was accepted at Cleveland Hospital.
He can now cancel his open heart surgery, in Indianapolis. And now is having the less invasive repair. He is young, only 37.
But, it is still heart surgery.
My mom isn’t doing too well with this, particularly since we lost my dad this past Christmas after real of heart complications.
Pray that the surgery goes well; his recovery is quick with no complications and for my mom.
Praying for you Los.

So I've been a fulltime youth pastor for 4 years and 3 months. I'm feeling a huge change coming for my wife, child, and I. I feel like I'm supposed to pursue worship ministry more than youth ministry. I'm scared. Don't know what to do. Don't know where to look. I'm just praying & recording my demo. Our son Jonah just turned 9 months old yesterday (the 1st). He is living in an orphanage in Liberia, West Africa. Pray that his adoption will be complete soon and we can bring him home. Also that we will be able to come up with all of the money needed for travel. Thank you.

I am in the Domincan Republic and where I am located there are really no churches, well one, and I have been attending but I am not Catholic. I just joined a Bible study in the apartment complex and I am already teaching and leading worship for the next two weeks. I know God is moving and I see the needs and places to serve. Just pray that I can see what God wants me to do, where, and when. I know I am suppose to be here to do more than teach English to high school students.

Well my doctor just made me take 3 weeks off from work. It could cost me my job but that's up to my boss, and the docs. I need favor, and if I do lose this job, I'll need another... so if you could just keep that in your prayers. Job market here isn't good. I'm taking this 3 weeks as a spiritual vacation. Other than Physical Therapy, I"m spending more time with God and my guitar...

These prayers are deep from within, concerned with fear that gets hold of me.
Please pray that my adult daughter will accept Jesus deep in her heart.
Her father committed suicide due in part to alcohol addiction.
I found evidence... she may be using drugs.
Please pray hard that her future not follow the path of addiction.
Keep her safe O Lord.

That I make it through the background process for the 911 dispatch position I applied for last year in July. I just had my interview today. I have a polygraph on Thursday and a medical exam still to come. My investigator will be sending out letters to friends. famly and former employers soon. The job would be tremendously helpful in terms of my ability to provide well for my four kids as I am a single mom.
Also for my kids as they continue to greive the death of their cousin, and grandfather on the heels of a tough year including the divorce of their dad and I. They are incredibly resilient but still they struggle.

Thanks for asking. I'm pretty new to your site, but I like your authenticity and the exposure of yourself. I hope and pray you're able to do it as much in "real" life as you're able to online. I know that can be tough for me at times, maybe it is for you.

Anyway, though, I could use prayer in that I'm getting married in January and my fiance's brothers are being very antagonistic about the situation because of my baggage/struggles. Pray for wisdom for us to know how to listen and to talk to them and not to have to cut ties. Peace.

I hope the tech fast was everything it needed to be.

My dad was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year. He just finished treatments a few months ago and we're getting the results from his follow up biopsy on Wednesday, the 8th.

Pray for my son, Justin. He's 19 and a sophomore in college, dealing with an alcoholic father and really hasn't found a sense of self. that our house will sell. our mortgage went up $800 6 mo's ago, now it's going up another $700. do the math... that's $1,500 in 6 mo's... totally insane!!!

oh, and i need to get a job until it sells to pay the difference. i homeschool my high schooler, and have to drive my college freshman to community college (unable to drive due to health reasons).

First, know that I prayed for your time away from the noise. It's evident you love your God, your family and your job. In answering the question "What does it mean to love God?" our pastor said "It is the complete surrender of the focus of our affection to God alone." That hit me big. Not to God first, the most, the loudest....but the surrender of our focus of our affection to Him - alone. Hard to take focus off our family and the world around us. May He meet you in a new way on your retreat.
My prayer request is for my son to discover and embrace what God desires to impart to him.

For Carmen. Wouldn't it be amazing if God healed her and she was able to talk and walk and play with her sister? If He chooses not to heal her, that she will be comfortable. And that I will be able to turn the reigns over to God and accept His will. And if God decides that Lauren will be our only child that I can accept that. And if it is His will that we adopt again that He will lead and direct and provide!

Infertility and longing for a child sucks.

We were blessed beyond measure with our five year old son who was adopted , but our hearts yearn for another child, for him to have a sibling. We would be thrilled with another adoption. (we have done the paperwork and are 2 years into waiting) We would be thrilled with a surprise pregnancy. God moving in either direction would be amazing.

We just baptized 602 at both our campuses for NewSpring Church in SC, please pray for all those and for the ones that will come to Christ from witnessing the awesome display of public declaration. We had tailgating at both campuses proir to the baptisms. Tents, grills, footballs, lots of food and music. I am ending a 20 year abusive marriage. I have 5 children. My husband has cut off almost all support and is going to make me fight for my kids. He is a pastor. My chest hurts almost constantly and I battle fear all day.
