  • Mark Chapman · 1 year ago
Someone actually thought that was good idea.I would love to hear the brainstorming session that brought this performance to life.
I don't think the guy behind the truth keyboard is even playing it.
  • Tim · 1 year ago
File this under the apostasy of taste....
  • Heidi Reed · 1 year ago
You've got to be freakin' kidding me. No wonder people think Christians are such whack jobs!! I'm so embarrassed and I had nothing to do with that. Ick!
  • scott gould · 1 year ago
It's cool, it's hip, it's breaking - and it's also informative and spiritual!

    5/5!
  • Chris · 1 year ago
If there isn't production like this at Buckhead by the end of '09 you should be fired.

  • Chris J · 1 year ago
I'm pretty sure that applause track was about as real as the foliage onstage... watch out Pussycat dolls...cause "Present Truth" is too legit to quit! lol at this
  • janowen · 1 year ago
Hey, in case anyone wanted to know this was supposedly recorded in 2007 - I would have guessed 1987. Also this group is not - according to Wikipedia - a Christian group. The Way International does not believe Jesus is God.....

Sooooooo, at least it's not bad Christian music. Whatever it is, it's not that.

    Whew, I'm relieved!

I sent it out to my praise team as a "special for Oct.".....no one wants to audition for the guys part! haha
  • Jad · 1 year ago
Dude...I'm crying right now. No kidding.

    Until :40...utter shock.

    Until 1:57...a little anger.

At 1:57 when the dude busted the redonkulous moonwalk...hysterical laughter to the point of tears.

    I want more.
  • Albee · 1 year ago
There was a combined 200 years of musical experience backing that trio up. Those are some chops you don't mess with...
  • Jason C · 1 year ago
    There... are... no... words...
  • Toby @ WTLF · 1 year ago
As I think back on the non-Christian part of my life, I wonder....Where was the Christian movement when I was a kid? Why weren't the youth of America motivated to follow Christ? Thanks for answering my questions Los! :-)
  • JSR · 1 year ago
Sweet baby jesus. I think I just peed a little bit. That is just awesome.
  • zach harrod · 1 year ago
Seriously what goes through the minds of people!?!?! This is horrible....
  • Andrew T. · 1 year ago
disappointed guy pulled up short of the robot. That is the only thing I see missing.
  • Steve · 1 year ago
I at least give them credit for being tight on their moves. Did I actually say that?
  • Dave © · 1 year ago
As we generally agreed yesterday (see post "Convenient 'Truths'"), the important thing is that Christ is preached.

I almost wish there was a Bible verse that said, "Thou shalt not singeth and danceth poorly." At least that way we could argue about it.
  • Marcelo · 1 year ago
Thanks, Los! So refreshing! Is it what's going down at Andrew's upstairs tonight? Anyway, my favorite... the moonwalk followed by the little samba steps.

P.S.: Is this a family band? I am pretty sure it is... Daddy on drums, mom and children on mics, mom's cousins on keys.
  • Morgan · 1 year ago
holy crap. I'm literally sitting in front of my computer with my mouth open in shock.
  • Jesse H. · 1 year ago
No wonder nobody wants to come to church
  • Jeremy · 1 year ago

  • Michael Harrison · 1 year ago
Is that the worship team from Buckhead Church practicing for this week? WOW. It is gonna be a different and special kinda week, Los. Enjoy and thanks for sharing. Your pastor said something about docking your pay check for this one (say that on twitter). Hope you and the fam don't starve this week. HA HA
  • Toby · 1 year ago

  • toni · 1 year ago
i have been laughing for a half hour now and i can't stop. is this the new look of what the church is doing?teehee. is this what happens when you have a renewed mind?

  • Abs · 1 year ago
that's just like road kill - disgusting and yet you can't keep from looking....
  • michael · 1 year ago
How do you discover this stuff???
  • Jonnelle · 1 year ago
Someone else sent it to me. They knew I would get a huge kick out of it due to my endless fascination and urge to ridicule lame Christian attempts to be hip.

But since God is working on that haughtier-than-thou spirit in me, the only thing I could muster up that was nice was:

It's obvious they worked hard... practiced. They were synchronized well.

Because boy oh boy... I would love to let the snark rip.

(note: this is something God's been dealing with me personally.. not a comment on the rest of this thread because... that video is all about the crickets.)
  • Jen · 1 year ago
who is their coreographer??? i'm thinking its the guy in the middle...
  • Devon · 1 year ago

  • Stevo28andGrowing · 1 year ago
what you don't see is the 5,000 screaming fans all wearing the concert t-shirt and holding glo sticks.

this was amazing. especially the spin move in the second minute. God only knows how much I pray every night for those skillz!
  • Marcelo · 1 year ago
The tags on this video @ youtube: dancing, sad, bizarre, funny, awkward, Jesus, mind, key, renewed.

  • Reid Greven · 1 year ago
I am so disturbed right now.

The sheer fact that these guys beat me to the punch...

I mean, haven't I said all along that I wanted to form a matching suit-wearing quasi-techno band with my mom, dad, Aunt Gertie and Uncle JJ in order to show off my killer liturgical crunk dancing?
  • Craig · 1 year ago
Copyright 2007... seriously?!?! As I'm watching I had 2 thoughts...
    1) 1983
    2) Thought bubble over male vocal's head..."Four years and $80,000 at the Conservatory of Music for this??"

  • bobby · 1 year ago
Ya know, the great dance break kinda reminds me of John Travolta trying to dance like Michael Jackson. Just a thought.
  • Dana · 1 year ago
Speechless. This doesn't happen a lot.
  • kim · 1 year ago
somehow it took 4 Michael Jackson videos to cleanse my visual/auditory palate after seeing this. And I didn't even know that was possible.

    Those women are hot.
  • EricD · 1 year ago
I think most of you are being to hard on these folks. The only reason that some of our churches today are even near the cutting edge is because at some point someone tried something different. Shame on you hypocrites.
  • Shayne · 1 year ago
Oh no he didn't...wait...yup...he did. *sigh*
  • Tstaires · 1 year ago
How can I book these guys? Their moves are FRESH.

Now I know what happened to James Brown's soul.
  • Ashley · 1 year ago
Was that a synthesizer he was playing?!!? I think I had one in the 80's...
  • logicomega · 1 year ago
That was a little painful. Well I guess they are doing it for God so I can't be too judgmental. Is this an older Video from the 80's? I'm just trying to understand......It's entertaining in a way, kinda like watching a kung-fu movie, not meant to be serious. God bless ...forgive my 1st thoughts/impressions.
  • Jim · 1 year ago
    hotness...
i yelled for my wife to come watch, she said "never show me that again".
    hehe
  • amy · 1 year ago
The sad part... they dance better than me.
  • Ben Ortlip · 1 year ago
    Napoleon Dynamite goes to church.

Do they have a tetherball league for sports outreach ministry?

I voted for Pedro. After that performance, I'll vote for Present, Truth, Jesus.... whatever they're selling!!
  • Los · 1 year ago
    Hey Cool for Jesus.
Why don't you crawl out of your moms basement and display your real self not the anonymous lameness that you are. That all your typing can be seen.

do you think you can throw up in heaven? because if so i'm pretty sure Jesus just did. and even if you can't... i'm still pretty sure Jesus just did.

    lol.
    nice.
  • Tre Haskings · 1 year ago
actually, from a dancer's perspective, they are really on time and together which is really difficult to do. Other than that it's really dorky.
