I just read Eric Clapton's autobiography. He and his friends were always hurting one another. He stole his friend's wife for example. Yet, they continually forgave. They continued to live life together. I suppose I wish I saw more genuine forgiveness in church. We talk a lot about it. We have received it in such extravagance. But sometimes it seems in short supply...

when they presume to think they have it all figured out and everyone who doesn't believe exactly the way they do is fataly incorrect.

oh, and leadership conferences. I go to them, love them - think they are essential. but the whole self improvement, be a better leader thing drives me nuts... makes me feel like some weird finatic. so who's going to unleash? see you there. :-D
